The Moderator Panel: Infractions and Cleanup
Two different screens that both sound like moderation — logging discipline against a person, and cleaning up records and BOLOs. They're gated by different permissions on purpose.
Table of contents
There are two separate staff tools here that are easy to mix up by name alone. Knowing which is which matters, because they're gated by two different permissions.
Infractions — discipline against a person
Gated by the Infractions permission. Five kinds: Warning, Strike, Suspension, Termination, and Commendation (yes, a positive one exists too — not everything logged here has to be bad). Issuing one needs the person's Discord ID, the kind, a reason the member will actually see, and optionally staff-only notes that never reach them.
Issuing a Suspension or Termination does something real beyond just logging it: it suspends the person on the roster immediately and pulls them off any unit they had on duty. Lifting it ("Void") reverses the roster suspension, as long as they're still suspended for that same reason.
Infractions never get deleted outright — voiding keeps the record, just marks it lifted, so there's always a real history rather than a log that can quietly disappear.
The member it's against can see it. Kind, reason, dates, whether it's been voided — all visible to them. The one thing kept back is staff notes, which never show up on their side no matter what.
The moderation panel — cleanup, not discipline
Gated by the Moderation permission, and it's doing something completely different: a read-only view of who's currently suspended, and real delete buttons for old records and BOLOs that need clearing out. Deleting here is an actual hard delete — most of the rest of the CAD only ever deactivates something rather than removing it, but this screen genuinely removes it.
Why they're split
A rank can carry Infractions without Moderation, or the other way round — someone trusted to write someone up isn't automatically someone who should be permanently deleting records, and vice versa. If a rank seems to be missing one half of "moderation" work, check which of the two permissions it's actually carrying.

Department Applications
A real written application form, right on the CAD, that can place someone straight into a department when they're accepted.
