Department Applications
A real written application form, right on the CAD, that can place someone straight into a department when they're accepted.
Table of contents
The CAD can run proper written applications — not a quick Discord modal, a real multi-question form someone fills out on the website, reviewed by staff with the same accept/deny flow used everywhere else in Varko.
It's not a separate system
Worth knowing up front: this is the exact same application system Varko uses for recruitment generally. A form only shows up inside the CAD because it's been marked to — there's no CAD-specific application type underneath. That means anything you already know about how Varko's applications work (review flow, decisions, role grants) applies here directly.
Building a form
Two question types only: a short answer (one line) or a paragraph (several lines). Each question can be marked required or optional, given a character limit, and a placeholder hint. There's no multiple-choice or dropdown option — if the question needs a real decision from the applicant, it's one of these two text types.
Tie the form to a specific department, and accepting someone places them straight into it — no separate step needed to assign them afterward.
Unlike a Discord modal, there's no hard cap on how many questions you can ask — the usual five-question modal limit doesn't apply to a form filled out on the website.
Reviewing
Submissions queue up for staff to review, same accept/deny decision as any other application in Varko — accepting runs the same role-grant and (if tied to one) department-placement logic automatically. Someone can only have one pending submission per form at a time, so there's no way to accidentally spam the same application in twice.

Managing the Roster
Editing a member's callsign, department, and rank, suspending someone, and reading the roster the way staff actually need to.
The Dispatch Board: Calls, BOLOs, and Priorities
Creating and running a call from the moment it comes in to the moment it closes, and keeping BOLOs current while you're at it.
The Moderator Panel: Infractions and Cleanup
Two different screens that both sound like moderation — logging discipline against a person, and cleaning up records and BOLOs. They're gated by different permissions on purpose.
